Local Connecticut and NY Music Blog had a chance to listen to our new record…
Here’s what they had to say:

“Music Sushi had the exclusive sneak peak to The Well-Informed’s debut album Everybody Knows (full feature/review to follow!), and it has been a pleasure to listen to over the past week.
Combing influences such as The Beatles, Beach Boys and The Band (I personally heard some Billy Joel mixed in), these guys perfectly mix together today’s Americana style with the great artists of the past.
They even cited LCD Soundsystem as an influence on the new record (showing some crazy range!).”

On the Verge: WERS Boston

Recently took a fun trip up to Boston…
Thanks to gracious folks at WERS 89.9FM. Great times!

“Whatever label they choose for their music, this isn’t just pop for the record bin romantic, but for all listeners who appreciate a song that makes you smile and tap your foot.”

Deli Magazine Write-up!

The Deli Magazine caught us LIVE at Piano’s last week and wrote an excellent piece here:

“Their sound is familiar, yes, but it is also inherently something altogether unique and evocative of the DUMBO art and cultural scene–which tends to shy away from the more experimental and often contrived sound generated in the Williamsburg area.”

Thanks to our friends at the neighborhood blog, DUMBO NYC for posting The Well-Informed on BK Independent Television.

Folk Hive: “Home (On Our Way Back)”

Thanks to the great blog for featuring our new song, “Home (On Our Way Back)” on “6am Repeat” segment…

They say of the song:

“For those like me with a current anxiety issue, I recommend this jam as a coping mechanism.  Further, I recommend this jam also as a cure for poison ivy, heroin addiction, and the sadness you’re experiencing over Amy Winehouse’s death.  It’ll work.  TRUST.”

Those Who Dig: “New York (We Love Her)”

We’ve just been posted on the excellent blog, Those Who Dig!

Of our new song, Kyle writes:
“…their single “New York (We Love Her)” makes me picture all those scenes in a fancy bar in Boardwalk Empire where there booze is flowing, the ladies are dancing, and the band is playing. It’s a modern ode to the women of the city, but it transports you to a period and a time.”
